The old village of Rhodes, Kaminari, rebirths and takes you on a magical journey back in time!
The main square of Kaminari Village becomes alive and its inhabitans prepare for you an exciting representation of a traditional Rhodian village feast where you will experience and participate in an emotional journey to Greece’s traditional dances, music, songs, food and drinks.
You will be seated on the village main square where you will be served the course of your choice and the local inhabitans will take their instruments and take you on a journey back in time!
You will wonder around the hand-made stone village surrounded by botanic gardens with aromatic herbs, visit the small museums with exibits of the most representative elements from rural Rhodian life. (the traditional rhodian house, the bread making house, the shoemaker house, the argalios house, the pottery house, the outdoor wood-burning village oven).
Kaminari village band will present you a selection of songs and music from Rhodes island, Dodecanese islands, Crete and other parts of Greece.
Our band will be playing rebetiko, old pop, greek cinema soundtracks, island and traditional music.
A two-hour music program that will present you a small sample of our great music heritage.
